DHC 60mg is designed to release the medicine gradually over 12 hours and are prescribed to help give continuous pain relief from chronic severe pain. Its higher doses are slightly stronger than codeine or co-codamol and are prescribed for more severe pain.

DHC Continus (Dihydrocodeine Tartrate) tablets are indicated for use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
